Common issues and their solutions
Check System Settings > Privacy & Security to ensure the app is allowed to run. The first time you launch Mountio, macOS may show a security warning. Go to System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS), navigate to Privacy & Security, find the message about Mountio being blocked, and click "Open Anyway" to allow the app to run.
The menu automatically refreshes every 2 seconds to show current device status. If you notice delays, try:
Mountio may prompt for administrator password when performing mount/detach operations. This is normal macOS behavior for system-level disk operations. The app uses standard macOS disk management commands that require elevated privileges.
If a USB stick doesn't appear in Mountio's menu:

Mountio operates locally on your Mac and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All USB device information is processed locally and is not shared with any third parties.
The developer reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Software at any time. Updates may be provided at the developer's discretion.
Your license to use Mountio will terminate automatically if you violate any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
